Meet Ari Morris, a seasoned mixer, engineer, and producer with an illustrious career marked by 78 gold & platinum certifications and Grammy nominations. Hailing from New Jersey, Ari's journey led him to Memphis in 2008, where he honed his craft at the University of Memphis, graduating in 2012 with a degree in recording technology.

His career ignited at Young Avenue Sound, where under the mentorship of industry veterans Skip McQuinn and Nil Jones, he swiftly rose to become the studio's go-to engineer. Collaborating with local talents like Young Dolph, Moneybagg Yo, and Key Glock, Ari solidified his reputation as a sought-after professional.

This paved the way for his residency at the iconic Ardent Studios, where he lent his expertise to a myriad of projects for renowned artists, establishing himself as a trusted name in the music industry.

Ari's talents transcended geographical boundaries, leading him to studios nationwide. His portfolio boasts multiple Billboard & radio #1 hits, including Moneybagg Yo's chart-toppers like "Wockesha", "Said Sum", and "Time Today", and Young Dolph's acclaimed track "Major".

His accolades extend to his work as a mixer on Royce da 5'9"'s "The Allegory", nominated for Rap Album of the Year in 2020, and as a Vocal Mixer on Mary J. Blige's "Good Morning Gorgeous (deluxe)", a nominee for Album of the Year in 2022.

In 2020, Ari planted his flag with the establishment of Edge Recording, a state-of-the-art studio in Memphis, complete with the city's first Dolby Atmos equipped mixing and post-production facility. It was here that he crafted immersive mixes for chart-toppers like Lil Durk's "7220" and Rod Wave’s "A Beautiful Mind", both debuting at #1 on Billboard.

When he's not shaping the sound of tomorrow's hits, you can find Ari at Edge Recording, collaborating with his trusty studio assistant and beloved rescue dog, Mendy, ready to turn musical dreams into reality any day of the week.
